青い薔薇の花言葉は、「夢が叶う」「願いが叶う」「奇跡」「神の祝福」です。
皆様が、素敵な出来事に出会うことを願っています。
薔薇は西洋のイメージで、明治になってイギリスなどから入って来たと思いがちですが、日本でも古い時代から「そうび」と言い、薔薇を愛でていたようです。
源氏物語や古今和歌集にも、歌が詠まれています。
「階の底の薔薇けしきばかり咲きて春秋の花盛りよりもしめやかにをかしきほどなるに
うちとけ遊びたまふ」

「我はけさ ういにぞ見る 花の色を あだなるものと 言うべかりけり」
（ 古今和歌集・紀貫之 ）
平安時代に薔薇が庭に咲いていたなんて、美しすぎる。
そこまでは想像もしていなかったが、芸術に価値を見出し、花や月をも愛でる感性溢れる時代だったことに、誇りを感じる。
多くの名品や文学も生まれ、日本画の礎「大和絵」もこの時代に生まれている。

Roses have a Western image, and we tend to think that they came from England and other countries in the Meiji period (1868-1912), but it seems that people in Japan have been calling them "sobi" and loving roses since ancient times.
They are also mentioned in the Tale of Genji and the Kokin Waka Shu.
"Blooming solely at the bottom of the stairs, the roses exhibit a grace surpassing the splendid blossoms of spring and autumn. They invite me to indulge in carefree play."
"The roses at the bottom of the floor are in full bloom, and it is even more beautiful than the spring and autumn flowers.
"I am at peace and play with myself.

"I am the color of the flowers I see in the morning, and I must say that they are a disgrace."

It is too beautiful to imagine that roses were in bloom in gardens during the Heian period.
I had never imagined such a thing, but I feel a sense of pride in the fact that this was a time when people found value in art and had a great sensitivity to the flowers and the moon.
Many masterpieces of art and literature were created in this period, and Yamato-e, the cornerstone of Japanese painting, was also born in this period.
